Heavenly Father we ask you in Jesus name to reach down and touch those that have lost loved ones, Father we ask you to give them the peace that passes all understanding,, to give them Hope in your SOn's name.
Help them to rejoice through it all and to know that your are still God. Help those are not saved to be able to draw closer to God ,, let the Holy SPirit flow conviction through them

Dear Lord, according to the expert on earthquakes and tsunamis, this is going to happen again, unless YOU, in Your mercy, intervene. Lord, this may have to happen to show the world that they cannot continue to ignore Your commandments, and cannot continue to live life their own way. Lord, people must be willing to humble themselves before you and surrender their wicked ways to You. Help those of us in the Body of Christ who have allowed compromise into our lives to wake up, and realize that You are coming back soon, and we do not want to be like the five virgins who did not have oil in their lamps!! Repentance must begin in the Church, Lord Jesus, and then there may be one last harvest of lost souls before You come for your children in the Rapture. Help Your children, Lord, to be a light amidst the darkness. In Jesus' name I pray this, Amen.

I was crying when I saw first pictures from this waves.My heart is still crying with these people who did lost tehir child,their parnets,their friends,their homes.Father Please comfort these people and help them built a life again.Help them to believe in better morrow and exspesially You!!!Save those who are not saved yet!!!Lord in to Your hands I left these people.Amen.

It never ceases to amaze me how people ignore the warnings about impending doom!

Noah told the people there was coming a flood. They ignore the warning and all died except Noah and his family!

The Angels warned Lot and his family that God was going to destroy Sodom and Gormorrah. They were told not to look back-Lot's wife did and was turned into a pillar of salt!

The Children of Israel were warned by Moses about Idolatry-yet they worshipped the Golden Calf and a great earthquake swallowed them up!

Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 24 that Jerusalem would be trodden down by Gentiles! In 70 AD the city and the temple were destroyed!

There is much speculation whether God would send a tragedy like this. HOW soon we forget his warnings of judgment! God is a God of Love, but He is also a Righteous God, He will not always strive with man! Judgment is coming to this sin cursed world! The trumpet of warning is being sounded LOUD, will the world take heed and repent or continue sinning until judgment falls!

Heavenly Father we thank you for your wonderful grace. Father we come to you in prayer for victims and families and survivors of the tsunami disaster. Father there are many things we don’t understand, we pray to you to comfort the survivors to heel the wounded. Father we pray for those that lost loved ones that you would be with them as only the comforter can. Lord we pray for disaster relief, that you would meet the needs of water, food, medical supplies, I pray many Holy Bibles are readily available at relief sites, that your wonderful will would guide them into hands in need of your perfect word. Lord we pray especially for missionaries in those countries, that you bless those new to area, and continued prayers of the recent lottie moon and offerings for those countries and missionaries, would be blessed. Lord we pray for those countries, victims and missionaries.

In the pictures it looks like a nice day, no sign of the impending tragedy. It's surreal how this tsumani just washed over people and the countries.
Dear God,
Please bless those who were affected by this horrific tragedy. Please help to quell the danger of disease follwing the receding waters. Please bless those who are working diligently to aid those in need. Please protect the relief workers from rebel forces who wish to bring about dischord and violence during this sad and trying time. Several people in this thread have commented on how people in the photographs are smiling and laughing, with no idea of their doom impending. That may be because they actually weren't looking at their impending doom, but at something different. The urban legend/internet hoax website Snopes.com reports that these photographs aren't from the 12/04 tsunami event at all, but from a 2002 tidal bore event in China. A tidal bore is a predictable event, and the people in the photograph apparently were there expecting to see big waves and get wet, hence the smiles and laughter.

Heavenly Father I pray for all the souls that were lost in this terrible tragedy. I pray that you will re-unite those that are separated and find homes for those children that have been orphaned.

This is not an act of mother nature, as some believe. For you are in total control of even mother nature. This is the consequence of the people and a strong warning of what is yet to come. Open our eyes to see, ears to hear and our minds to believe. This is part of your plan Lord and we must prepare ourselves. I pray for the lost souls in the world and pray that the people will begin to search their souls and turn to You Lord. Your are the only hope for us in all the things to come. In Jesus Name...amen

Hear the Lord people as He continues to warn us. All these acts of nature throughout the entire nation and also the acts of violence are biblical signs and we better look UP and prepare. We CANNOT continue to ignore them.
