Many of the people in the photos are smiling! Like at an amusement park when we see a wave coming we know we are going to get wet.

How awful that at the same time I feel a stake driven through my heart at the great loss of the people.

A man once said, after his teenaged daughter was killed in a car accident, that the Lord came to him and told him that his daughter wasn't "in" that wreck. Maybe that happened here, too.

Those of us who are left behind have no way out of the grief left behind by the disaster. All we can know is that, for now, we are without them. If we pray, we will be with them again, maybe, someday.

Father, give comfort to the families in their hours of great, great need. Hold them in Your arms. In Jesus' Name we pray....Amen.

Lord, please touch the hearts of those who lost loved ones in the Tsumnami and please touch those who are separated. If there are survivors who are separated from other survivors, please bring them back together. I thank you for all of the other touching reunions. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Stand Firm and Focus on Him

Father, have mercy on those left alive. If they are not saved, I pray they will hear the gospel and get saved. Send a preacher, missionary, evangelist to them. I plead the blood over them for their day of salvation. Thank You for all the Christian groups outpouring love and aid over there. I pray that many our brought to Jesus through this. In Jesus Name, amen.

24 But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:24)

I believe this tsunami is a sign of the condition of the world, and of those things yet to come. The Word of God tells us that in the last days, there will be things like we have never seen...famine, disease, natural phenomenon, child against parent, parent against child, and so on.

I pray in all their searching, people will come to a place of repentance and confession, and stop leaning upon their own understanding. Things are only going to get worst, but with God, and only with Him, do we have hope.

I mourn for the loss of life, especially those who died with sin on their souls. For those who are left, I pray that they will drop on bended knee and call out to Him, the Alpha and Omega.

Heavenly Father, may we all recognize the times we are in, and use this oportunity we are given to do some very serious soul-cleaning! Thank You for the labourers who are heeding the call to get the Gospel to the four corners of the earth. May Your perfect will be done, always and in all things.

Lord, please help and watch over those that are left behind in this horrific event. Send comfort to those who have lost loved ones. Wrap Your arms around those who have died and welcome them into Your Kingdom.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" (Jn.15:12,17, 13:34,35).

I am humbly praying in the name of Jesus that through this unbelievable tradgedy that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will overcome the grief-stricken in the tsunami hit areas. May these deaths not be in vain but used by God as an opportunity to reveal His compassion through the hearts of Christians world wide. His Word is true and speaks of these unusual events as signs of the end times. We had an unusual flood in Pittsburgh a few months ago. People were rescued from their housetops. Having grown up in Pittsburgh I've never heard or experienced this type of flood. So much rain fell in a short time. I tried three routes home before finally finding one.There were several hurricanes this past year in Florida perhaps a record number?

Hearing the prediction of another tsunami in the area is cause for additional prayer. I pray God will bless us to be able to give to this hard hit area in whatever way He moves each of us to. May this glorify Him!

Father,

God, I'm still in shock over this. The reality hasn't hit me properly. Before Jesus left earth to be with you, He asked Peter to feed his sheep. I ask that you show us all how we can "feed your sheep" and heal the brokenhearted as ambassadors of your love at this time. I'm not Catholic, but I bring this prayer before you.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life

Father, I thank you for those you did spare, for the ones we don't see in the photos, who were protected from the rage of the water. I believe that for as much as we see the agony and the loss, there are miracles yet unknown, there are manifestations of your mercy that we don't see yet.

I love you God, and even in the midst of this, I trust your will.

Lord, we ask for your Mercy upon these people....Lord, the survivors now have another chance to Trust Jesus as their savior. Lord, I ask that you will move in these peoples lives to comfort them and that they will seek you with their whole hearts.

Father in Heaven, again we come before and ask for your help in comforting the ones left behind. We pray Father that your word will be taken more seriously when we are warned of something to come,
(as in Revelations).....Let the ones who are lost be found in your Love. We know the end is near and we pray all will be saved in your Grace Father.....

Father, let these people be warned. Send angels when they are sleeping. Give them visions and dreams that cannot be ignored. Let the people be moved. Let their ears and eyes be opened. Let them receive the message You are sending. In Jesus' Name we ask these things....Amen.

Oh God, hear the cry of Your people! Oh God, even as we call on Your name! Oh God, come pour out Your mercy as we pray, in Jesus Name.

Father, open the eyes of Your people, that we would see
Father, open the ears of Your people, that we would hear
Father, open the hearts of Your people, that we would belief!

Help those of us that are alive and saved to remain steadfast, strong and true to You and Your words. Help the survivors of the tsunami to see You even in the waves that took their loved ones and help them to understand and seek You even in threat of the next tsunami, even as expert warnings are going out right now. Everlasting King of Glory, help us to stand firm even in the face of other disasters yet to come, and give us the grace to stand firm even as we walk Your path as laid down to eternity.

We ask for healing, restoration, reunion, salvation and special anointing for those being reached thru this message and more and also even for those that are reaching out to others. Thank You Lord God for answered prayers, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen

Father God,
May this and every moment in our lives be a chance for us to exalt you and to glorify you. May our sacrifice of prayer for those who have lost loved ones be a sweet sound to you, Lord. Send your angels of comfort, protection, and mercy to this devastated area. Empower the missionaries and Christian relief workers as they meet the needs of those who are seeking.

Dear Father God,

Take into the Mercy of Your Heart all the souls of the dead, whoever they were, whatever their faith. Comfort all the survivors, heal them Lord, there will be in their future such terrible cold grief and pain, perhaps mental illness and survivor guilt and all the awful empty lonliness of having had all that meant anything to them taken in the space of a few moments and destroyed utterly. I beg you from my heart for all of the victims to be safe now in Your arms, secure and healed, I love you Father, and trust in Your Mercy. I ask this through the Sacred Heart of my Precious Lord Jesus, Amen.
